Pinterest is a place where users can find and share ideas for just about anything. However, we found that a lot of Pinterest users only see the platform as an inspiration generator for a limited range of verticals, not a place to share ideas of all shapes and sizes.
We sought to change that perception with the Pinterest Creators campaign, through which we invited 20 creators from all different backgrounds and walks of life to share their ideas on Pinterest.

We started with a film that showcased 10 of our new Creators whose ideas spanned all the way from hair sculpture to boob-shaped Neopolitan mini cakes.
We then got a little more granular by diving into the world of beauty. It's no secret that the beauty industry has been overwhelmingly White for decades. Though that has been rapidly shifting, we found that it was difficult to find ideas for non-white beauty topics such as hair without following the query with "for ___ people."
So we teamed up with our next 10 Beauty Creators to show the world that Pinterest is making strides to become a platform for all  beauty to be seen.
Finally, we wrapped up the campaign by partnering with V Magazine to showcase our awesome Creators on a cover wrap that paired with V's iconic 2020 VOTE issue.
